The project at a glance
Homelium Care, an award-winning provider of domiciliary and live-in care across the South of England, approached us to create a digital experience that evokes trust, compassion, and professionalism. They needed a platform that would comfort anxious families while providing crystal-clear information about their regulated care services, from dementia support to hospital discharge care.
The Challenge
Families searching for home care are often in a state of stress or urgency. Homelium's old site was text-heavy, difficult to navigate for older users, and lacked localized landing pages for their service areas (Essex, Hampshire, etc.). Furthermore, generating leads for care assessments was cumbersome, and their community initiatives were practically invisible to local stakeholders.
The Solution
We designed a warm, highly accessible website prioritizing clear typography, easy navigation, and WCAG compliance. We implemented localized branch pages to boost local SEO across the South of England. A simplified 'Free Care Assessment' funnel was introduced, featuring friendly, empathetic copy and prominent trust signals (CQC ratings, DBS checks). We also built a dedicated CMS for them to easily update community events.
