The project at a glance
Nourish is a health-focused meal planning and delivery platform that connects users with nutritionist-curated meal plans tailored to their dietary needs and health goals. We designed the complete mobile experience from onboarding through daily meal management and delivery tracking.
The Challenge
Existing meal planning apps were either too complex for casual users or too simplistic for health-conscious ones. Nourish needed to bridge this gap while meeting strict accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and supporting users with various dietary restrictions, allergies, and health conditions.
The Solution
We designed a progressive disclosure system that starts simple and reveals complexity as users engage deeper. The onboarding flow uses a conversational format to gather dietary preferences. The daily view uses a card-based interface with clear nutritional breakdowns. We introduced a 'Smart Swap' feature that lets users substitute ingredients while maintaining nutritional balance.
